Baguazhang Needles

The ultimate in Baguazhang training tools, these indestructible Needles (aka Piercers) will last you a lifetime. Of solid steel construction, each of these Needles weigh just under a pound and will help you to take your practice to the next level. Taijiquan and Xingyiquan practitioners will also appreciate the benefits these tools have to offer!
Please note that this version does not secure to your hand with a ring, but has a smooth groove pattern that fits comfortably into your hand. These Needles are balance and weighted for throwing.
The sharpened ends aid you in developing spatial awareness while the weight aids you in developing physical strength, relaxation and your connection to the ground.
Don't know a weapons form? Hold these Needles as you walk through any of your Baguazhang sequences or solo movements and the applications will be clear! Easy to use, and of use to all levels of ability.
Not interested in martial applications? No matter, using these training tools will aid you in deepening your practice and reaping the benefits. Simply hold them while you walk the circle, or work your forms, and will soon feel the difference.
Nervous about the sharpened ends? You should be. It is this attention that will teach you how to control your body and focus your mind. Still nervous about the sharpened ends? No worries, a wine cork (or rubber ball) on each end will protect you until you have developed confidence and control in your movements.

Rubber Training Knives
Single or Double Edge
We have always heard complaints about finding a great training blade. Realistic design. Soft enough to not do damage. Firm enough not to breed carelessness. Usable for solo practice, training drills and demonstrations. Inexpensive, but of high quality.
We finally have two rubber training knives that fit all of the above criteria. The single edge is a traditional Tanto design and the double edge is a modern military design - two completely different feels and uses.
Most of our customers choose both models - to become familiar with handling the two major styles of blades...while our Baguazhang people generally go for a pair of each for practicing double-knife work. These rubber training aids will do the job! Please remember to wear eye and/or face protection when practicing applications with any training tools.

The Sharkie
Impact-grade Permanent Marker
For years we have recommended that students carry a thick “Sharpie” marker for use as an emergency impact tool.
